About the market

The Santa Monica Wednesday Downtown Farmers Market, established in 1981, is one of the largest and most diverse certified farmers' markets in the country, set up along Arizona Avenue between 2nd and 4th Streets in downtown Santa Monica. More than 60 California farms spread across four blocks bring locally grown produce and flowers direct from farm to table. The market is run by the City of Santa Monica, operates rain or shine year-round, and accepts CalFresh EBT.
