Our story
A baking platform built around real vanilla.
VanillaGoods began as a vanilla company. Today it is a free home for bakers: thousands of tested recipes, the calculators and classes to bake them well, and a community of people who love to bake. The vanilla is still the heart of it.

What's here, free
Everything a home baker needs, in one place.
No paywall and nothing to sign up for to use it. Recipes, calculators, classes and local food guides that work together, so a recipe can take you to the tool you need, the lesson behind it and the market to shop for it.
The platform
Tools that do the math, so you can do the baking.
Every part of VanillaGoods is built to answer the questions bakers actually have in the kitchen: how much, how long, what pan, what goes with what, and where to buy it.

Always in development
We're building the best baking tools and data on the web.
VanillaGoods is never finished. We work on it every day with one goal: to give home bakers the most useful baking tools and the most accurate baking data anywhere, free.
Better data, every week
We check recipes against tested ratios and food-safety temperatures, add metric weights, nutrition and allergen labels, and fix what we find. The library gets more accurate over time, not just bigger.
New tools and recipes
New recipes, calculators and lessons are added all the time, chosen by what bakers search for and ask us about.
You set the roadmap

Tell us what to buildWhere it started
It all starts with real vanilla.
Before the recipes and the tools, there was the vanilla. We import whole beans, make our own oak-aged extract and sell it at a fair price. Our recipes are written around real vanilla.
- Careful sourcingWe select beans for origin, aroma, moisture and curing quality, because great extract starts with great beans.
- Controlled extractionControlled extraction, proper aging and release standards, so every bottle tastes like the last.
- Flavor researchWe test origins, extraction methods and oak aging, and every recipe on the site is a chance to learn what each vanilla does best.
- Fair valueVanilla is a volatile crop. Watching the market closely lets us keep quality high and prices honest.
Come bake with us.
Save your favorites, log your bakes, learn something new and help shape what we build next. It's free.
