Cookies and cream
A flavor made by mixing crushed chocolate sandwich cookies into a vanilla or sweet cream base, best known as an ice cream.

- Frozen desserts and sweet beverages
Cookies and cream ice cream became popular in the US in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The cookies are broken into chunks and folded in after churning so they stay in distinct pieces.
The same idea is used in cheesecakes, milkshakes, frostings and cupcakes, often with a crushed-cookie crust.
