Milkshake
A cold drink made by blending ice cream with milk and flavorings until thick and smooth.

- Frozen desserts and sweet beverages
Also called: shake
A classic ratio is about 3 scoops of ice cream to ½ cup (120 ml) of milk; less milk gives a thicker shake. Blending briefly keeps it thick; long blending warms and thins it.
Popular flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cookies and cream. Malted milkshakes add malted milk powder.
