The family began producing maple syrup in 1988 and has expanded from tapping 10 trees to a large tubing-and-vacuum operation. The farm makes pure maple syrup and a range of value-added maple products. Its syrup is finished at a higher sugar concentration than Pennsylvania requires, creating a thicker product.
