Shel and Ray bought a 113-acre farm in Mercer County in 2010 for more space for their horses. Shel then wanted chickens and a house cow for their own milk. The farm raises American Milking Devon cattle on pasture in Mercer County. Old Time Farm emphasizes small-batch, home-grown beef and says it is woman-owned and PA Preferred certified. The farm also raises heritage Chantecler chickens and offers seasonal local eggs.
