Passion fruit
A tropical fruit with a wrinkled purple or yellow shell and a fragrant, tart pulp full of crunchy black seeds.

- Baking ingredients and additives
Passion fruit pulp is very acidic and intensely aromatic, so a little goes a long way. It is strained to make juice for curds, mousses, glazes and cocktails, or used whole as a topping for pavlova and cheesecake.
Ripe purple passion fruits look wrinkled and feel heavy for their size. Frozen pulp is a convenient substitute.
