Lemonade
A drink of lemon juice, water and sugar, served cold, often sweetened with a simple syrup so the sugar dissolves completely.

- Frozen desserts and sweet beverages
A balanced lemonade is about 1 part lemon juice, 1 part simple syrup and 4 to 6 parts water, adjusted to taste. Using syrup instead of granulated sugar avoids grit in cold water.
Fresh lemon juice tastes much brighter than bottled. Lemonade is often flavored with berries, mint, lavender or ginger.
