Greek yogurt
Yogurt strained to remove much of its whey, making it thick, tangy and high in protein.

Also called: strained yogurt
Straining gives Greek yogurt a texture close to sour cream, and full-fat versions can often replace sour cream one-for-one in cakes, muffins and dips. Its acidity reacts with baking soda to help leaven batters.
It's also used in frozen yogurt, parfaits and as a lighter topping in place of whipped cream.
