- Traditional and regional desserts
- United States
Cobblers are an American dessert, made with peaches, berries, cherries or apples. Biscuit-topped cobblers have dropped or rolled rounds of biscuit dough over the fruit; Southern-style cobblers often pour batter into melted butter with the fruit on top, so the batter rises around it.
Bake at about 375°F (190°C) until the fruit bubbles and the topping is cooked through and golden.
