Instructions
- Make or prepare toffee sauce if homemade: cook 1/4 cup brown sugar and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat until it thickens, then let cool slightly.
- Add milk to a high-speed blender first.
- Add the frozen banana, honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, toffee sauce, and fine sea salt.
- Add the ice cubes.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
- Check consistency. Blend in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes if too thin.
- Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
