  • 3.0dried figs, stems removed
  • ½ cup (120.0 ml)ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add the frozen banana, dried figs and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
  5. Check the consistency. Add 1–2 tablespoons of additional milk if too thick or a few more ice cubes if too thin and blend again.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.

Tips

  • Use ripe frozen bananas for natural sweetness and a creamy texture. If figs are too hard, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes before blending.
