Instructions

  1. Add the coconut milk and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the frozen banana and fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until smooth.
  5. Check the consistency. If too thick, blend in 1–2 tablespoons additional coconut milk. If too thin, add a few more ice cubes or frozen banana and blend again.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.

Tips

  • Freeze bananas in advance to get a creamy texture without adding additional ice. Coconut milk can be substituted with any plant-based milk for a different flavor.
