Instructions

  1. Toast the mini marshmallows lightly on a baking sheet under a broiler or in a toaster oven, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  2. Add 1/2 cup whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, toasted marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers.
  3. Add 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending to keep some texture from the marshmallows and crackers.
  5. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
  6. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
  7. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Toast marshmallows just until golden for the best flavor and texture. Use chocolate syrup and graham crackers to capture the classic s'mores taste. For a richer shake, substitute half-and-half for whole milk.
