Instructions

  1. Brew a strong 1/2 cup (120 ml) of Earl Grey tea and let it cool to room temperature, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the cooled tea, 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup (120 ml) whole milk, and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract to a blender.
  3. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
  4. Check consistency and add 1 tbsp milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin. Blend briefly to combine.
  5. Pour the milkshake into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
  6. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Use strong brewed Earl Grey tea for the best flavor. Cool the tea completely before blending to prevent melting the ice cream too quickly.
