Instructions

  1. Add milk to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the pitted Medjool dates, protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, fine sea salt, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
  5. Check consistency. Blend in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes if too thin.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
