In 2000, Joe and Linda (Howard) Bohr purchased 2.75 acres from the estate. The farm’s history began in 1940, when Dora and Cleo Howard started farming in Grundy County. Joe grows and sells cut flowers, fruits, and vegetables at the Cedar Falls Farmers’ Market. The barn was remodeled for use by groups hosting small weddings, class reunions, and other community events.
