Kathy and Rich Bennek are farmers at a family-owned, family-friendly farm in Johnston County. The farm planted its first blueberry bushes in 2006 and later added blackberries, grapes, and high tunnels. It grows berries and vegetables, keeps bee hives, and makes honey from its bees. Families can pick berries while children use the playground or others relax in the shade.
