Instructions

  1. Add the milk, coconut milk, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add pineapple chunks and frozen banana.
  3. Add the ice cubes and pinch of fine sea salt.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds, until completely smooth.
  5. Check consistency. Add 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes or frozen pineapple if too thin, then blend again briefly.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.

Tips

  • Use canned coconut milk for creamier texture or substitute with coconut yogurt. Freeze pineapple pieces in advance for a thicker smoothie.
