Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup whole milk and 2 cups vanilla ice cream to a blender.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
  3. Add 1/3 cup mini marshmallows.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending to keep marshmallow texture.
  5. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
  6. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
  7. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Use mini marshmallows instead of large ones to blend easily and create a chewy texture. For a thicker shake, freeze the milk a bit before blending.
