  • 2 ½ cups (600.0 ml)eggnog

  • ⅓ cup (67.0 g)granulated sugar

  • ¼ tspground nutmeg, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 cups of the eggnog until steaming. Whisk the remaining 1/2 cup eggnog with the yolks, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and nutmeg.
  2. Whisk the hot eggnog into the yolk mixture, return to the pan, and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thick and bubbling; whisk 1 minute more.
  3. Remove from the heat, whisk in the vanilla, and pour into the crust.
  4. Press plastic wrap onto the surface and refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours. Dust with nutmeg to serve.
