Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Beat the cream cheese and sugar on medium-low speed until smooth, scraping the bowl.
  3. Beat in the dark chocolate, vanilla, and salt, then the eggs one at a time, on low speed just until blended. Don't overbeat.
  4. Pour into the crust.
  5. Bake until the edge is set and the center still wobbles slightly, 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Cool on a rack for 1 hour, then refrigerate until cold and firm, at least 4 hours.
