  • 5.0 ml (5.0 ml)pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120.0 ml)orange juice
  • ½ cup (120.0 ml)ice cubes
  • pinch of fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the milk and orange juice to a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add the frozen banana, honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, and fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
  5. Check consistency. Blend in a little more milk or orange juice if too thick, or add extra ice cubes if too thin.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.

  • Use freshly squeezed orange juice for a brighter citrus flavor. For a dairy-free version, substitute milk with almond or oat milk.
