Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the frozen banana, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, and fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds, until completely smooth.
  5. Check consistency and adjust by blending in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes or frozen fruit if too thin.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
