  • ¼ cup (20.0 g)old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1.0 tsp (5.0 ml)pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120.0 g)ice cubes
  • pinch of fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the frozen banana, protein powder, rolled oats, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
  5. Check the consistency. Add 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes or frozen fruit if too thin.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
