Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the frozen banana, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, fine sea salt, and red food coloring.
  3. Add the ice cubes. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
  4. Check consistency. Blend in 1-2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes if too thin.
  5. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
