  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml)pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120.0 ml)ice cubes
  • small of pinch of fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add the frozen banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds until completely smooth.
  5. Check the consistency. If too thick, blend in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk. If too thin, add a few more ice cubes or frozen banana slices and blend again.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.

Tips

  • For a dairy-free version, use almond or oat milk. Adding an extra frozen banana slice thickens the smoothie without diluting flavor.
