Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups vanilla ice cream.
  2. Add 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, 1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks, and 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
  4. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
  5. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tablespoons whipped cream.

Tips

  • Use fresh mango when available for the best flavor, or frozen mango chunks during off-season. If you like a tangier shake, substitute half the milk for orange juice.
