Lemon Lavender Spritz Cookies

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350°F (177°C). Use clean, ungreased, room-temperature metal baking sheets.
2. Cream butter and sugar until smooth; incorporate egg and flavor additions.
3. Mix in flour and salt to produce a soft but pipeable dough; add powdered flavors before flour.
4. Fill a cookie press with dough and press 42 identical shapes directly onto the cool sheets.
5. Bake 9–11 minutes until set and barely golden around edges. Cool on sheet 2 minutes.
6. Keep sheets cool between batches; dough sticks better to cool, ungreased sheet metal.
