Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped dark chocolate, granulated sugar, and 2 fl oz (60 ml) of whole milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the remaining 8 fl oz (240 ml) of whole milk and continue heating, whisking frequently.
  4. Heat the mixture until steaming but do not let it boil.
  5. Pour into a mug and serve immediately.
