Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup (120 ml) whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups (480 ml) vanilla ice cream.
  2. Add 1/3 cup (40 g) crushed cookie brittle pieces and 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) pure vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
  4. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup (60 ml) additional ice cream if too thin.
  5. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce (480 ml) glass and top with 2 tbsp (30 ml) whipped cream and 1 tbsp (7.5 g) finely crushed cookie brittle pieces.
  6. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.
