Instructions
- Add 1/2 cup whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups chocolate ice cream.
- Add 1 tbsp chocolate syrup, 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending to keep walnut texture.
- Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
- Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream and 1 tsp chocolate shavings.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.
Tips
- Chop the walnuts coarsely to retain texture in the shake. Substitute almond milk to make it dairy-free.
