Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add the frozen strawberries, unsweetened cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, fine sea salt, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds, until completely smooth.
  5. Check consistency. Blend in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes or frozen strawberries if too thin.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
