Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups chocolate ice cream.
  2. Add 1 tbsp chocolate syrup, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
  4. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
  5. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream and 1 tsp chocolate shavings.
  6. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Use fresh or frozen strawberries for best flavor; frozen keep the shake chilled without diluting it. Adjust thickness by adding milk or more ice cream as needed.
