Instructions
- Add 1/2 cup whole milk and 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract to a blender, followed by 2 cups vanilla ice cream.
- Add 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and 2 tbsp malted milk powder.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20 to 30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
- Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
- Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.
Tips
- Use fresh blueberries if frozen are unavailable, and chill them before blending. To make ahead, blend all except the whipped cream, then top just before serving.
