Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups vanilla ice cream.
  2. Add 1/2 cup cooked cinnamon apples, chilled, 1/4 cup cranberry sauce, chilled, and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
  4. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
  5. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
  6. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Use homemade or store-bought cranberry sauce for convenience; frozen cranberries cooked with sugar can substitute. Blending cranberry sauce instead of whole berries ensures smooth texture.
