About the drive
The Las Vegas Strip is Las Vegas Boulevard between the STRAT tower on the north end and the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign on the south. Travel Nevada calls it the country's only nighttime scenic byway.
The point is the lights: the resorts along the boulevard are lit by millions of bulbs. Drive it slowly after dark, then park and walk.
Traffic is heavy, so the short drive can take half an hour or more.
