Instructions
- Heat marshmallow creme gently in a microwave-safe bowl for 15 seconds until slightly melted but not hot.
- Add 1/2 cup whole milk, melted marshmallow creme, and 2 cups vanilla ice cream to a blender.
- Add 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
- Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
- Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.
Tips
- Use marshmallow creme instead of whole marshmallows for a smoother texture. To make ahead, prepare the shake minus whipped cream, chill, then blend briefly before serving.
