Baking tools for this recipe
Instructions
- Grind the biscuits in a food processor to a very fine, sand-like powder. Set aside 20 g for the topping.
- Whip the cold cream with the vanilla to stiff peaks, about 3 minutes with an electric mixer on medium speed.
- Gently fold in the condensed milk with a spatula until just combined; do not overmix or the cream loosens.
- Place a layer of crumbs in the bottom of each of six 200 ml glasses, about 2 tablespoons. Top with a layer of cream, then repeat until the glass is nearly full, ending with cream.
- Smooth the tops and dust with the reserved crumbs. Cover and chill at least 4 hours, until the crumbs soften and the layers hold together.
Tips
- Grind the biscuits as fine as possible for the classic 'sawdust' look.
- Start and end each glass with a layer of crumbs or cream as you like, but keep the layers thin.
- Chill overnight for the best texture.
- Keep the finished dessert refrigerated and discard after 3 days.
