Instructions

  1. Brew 1 shot of espresso and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Add 1/2 cup whole milk and cooled espresso to a blender, followed by 2 cups chocolate ice cream.
  3. Add 15 ml chocolate syrup, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, and 2.5 ml pure vanilla extract.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
  5. Check the consistency and add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
  6. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 30 ml whipped cream and 5 g chocolate shavings.
  7. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Use cooled espresso instead of liquid coffee for a richer mocha flavor. For a dairy-free version, substitute the milk and ice cream with plant-based alternatives.
