Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and sugar on medium-high speed until very light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
  2. Beat in the melted chocolate, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating on medium-high for 5 minutes after each addition, until the filling is silky and the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Spread in the prebaked crust and refrigerate until firm, at least 6 hours.
  5. Top with the whipped cream before serving.
