Instructions

  1. Add the unsweetened coconut milk beverage to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the banana, unsweetened shredded coconut, honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a small pinch of fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds, until completely smooth.
  4. Check consistency. If the smoothie is too thick, blend in 1–2 tablespoons of additional coconut milk or water. If too thin, add a few extra ice cubes and blend.
  5. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.

  • Using a ripe banana adds natural sweetness and creaminess. For a thicker texture, freeze the banana before blending.
