Instructions
- Add 1/2 cup whole milk to a blender, followed by 2 cups chocolate ice cream.
- Add 1 tbsp chocolate syrup and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
- Check the consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
- Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream, 1 tsp chocolate shavings, and honeycomb pieces.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.
Tips
- Add the honeycomb pieces as a topping rather than blending them in to preserve their crunch. Use homemade or good-quality chocolate syrup for best flavor.
