Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat over medium, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Simmer gently for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and let stand for 2 minutes so the extracts keep their aroma.
  4. Stir in the vanilla, butter extract, almond extract and salt.
  5. Cool completely, pour into a clean bottle and refrigerate.
