  • 1.0 tbsp (7.5 g)unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup (120.0 g)ice cubes

  • ¼ tsp (1.25 ml)peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add the frozen banana, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and a pinch of fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds, until completely smooth.
  4. Check consistency. Blend in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes if too thin.
  5. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
