Instructions

  1. Place 1/2 cup whole milk and 2 cups vanilla ice cream in a blender.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract and all four berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
  3. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending to preserve berry texture.
  4. Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin, blending briefly between additions.
  5. Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tablespoons whipped cream.
  6. Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.

Tips

  • Use fresh or thawed frozen berries for best flavor and texture. Adding the berries before blending evenly distributes the fruit flavor.
