Instructions

  1. Add the milk to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the frozen banana, unsweetened cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, and fine sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 35–50 seconds, until completely smooth.
  5. Check the consistency and adjust by blending in 1–2 tablespoons additional milk if too thick, or a few extra ice cubes or frozen banana slices if too thin.
  6. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
