Instructions
- Combine unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and 2 fl oz (60 ml) of whole milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Whisk the mixture continuously until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Add the remaining 8 fl oz (240 ml) of whole milk and honey to the saucepan.
- Heat the cocoa mixture to steaming (around 160°F / 71°C), stirring occasionally, but do not boil.
- Pour the hot cocoa into a mug and serve immediately.

- For a dairy-free version, substitute whole milk with almond or oat milk. Warm the milk gently to avoid scorching the cocoa.
