Instructions
- Combine unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and 2 fl oz (60 ml) of whole milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Whisk continuously until smooth and the cocoa mixture is fully dissolved.
- Add the remaining 8 fl oz (240 ml) of milk and the gingerbread syrup to the saucepan.
- Heat the mixture to steaming (around 160°F / 71°C) without boiling.
- Pour into a mug and serve immediately.
