Instructions
- Add 1/2 cup chilled cold brew coffee to a blender, followed by 2 cups vanilla ice cream.
- Add 2 tbsp hazelnut syrup and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then on medium-high for 20–30 seconds, just until thick and smooth. Avoid overblending.
- Check consistency. Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time if too thick, or 1/4 cup additional ice cream if too thin.
- Pour into a chilled 16-ounce glass and top with 2 tbsp whipped cream.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw and long spoon.
Tips
- Use hazelnut syrup instead of hazelnut butter for a smoother texture appropriate to milkshakes. For a dairy-free option, substitute ice cream and whipped cream with plant-based versions.
